LRCE The Louisiana Resource Center for Educators  provides training for teachers, administrators, and home school families. Loaned more thatn 38,000 items to teachers. PH 924-7600, the web address is www.lrce.org
Louisiana State University (LSU)
School Improvement Team (SIT) SIT Teams successfully support each school. The SIT are a group of active parents, educators, business leaders, and concerned citizens who develop an improvement plan for their school, generate community involvement, and improve education for all children of East Baton Rouge Parish.
Southern University
Teach for America A national corps of outstanding and diverse recent college graduates of all academic majors who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools.
