- Mar 1, 07
It’s not the typical lunch date for Mayor Kip Holden. He took time from his busy schedule recently to honor a lunch invitation from Mrs. Moore’s 2nd Grade class at Brookstown Elementary. The invitation was given during the Arbor Day event in Baton Rouge. 7 year old Alaina J. and the Mayor met and developed an instant friendship. The two spoke about their love of trees and the environment. It did not take long during the lunch for the Mayor to make many more new friends and receive another lunch invite.
