East Baton Rouge Parish School System officials are encouraged by the LEAP test results that were released this spring by the State Department of Education.
Preliminary state test results indicate that the East Baton Rouge Parish School System had the strongest gains in the 4th and 8th grades, where the percent of students scoring “proficient” increased in every subject area. In addition, science and social studies scores increased in all grade levels.
EBR congratulates our students for their efforts, and we applaud the hard work of all our teachers and parents as well!
A strong public school system is vital to our local economy, so we thank the community for its continued involvement in our district. Much of the success of our students is due to the incredible community support we receive throughout the year.
