La Belle Aire School Celebrates Receiving Sam’s Club Reward Cards
- September 3, 2010
Although it was a warm and muggy afternoon following a rain shower, teachers and students were out on the basketball court at La Belle Aire Elementary School Tuesday, August 31, dancing to music. Principal Da’Anne Lipscomb and staff Terry Arikol and Amy Mead (pictured) led the way during the pep rally to celebrate Sam’s Club Store No. 8304 on Airline Highway donating reward cards to the school. The store chose the school as its 2010 Teacher Rewards recipient. Then students drew names for 10 eligible teachers to receive each a $100 reward card, which can be used at any area Sam’s Club or Wal-Mart to help purchase classroom supplies or nutritious snacks for the students. On hand for the celebration were the store’s good works and marketing team, Sue Hoge, Kelly Meaux, April Walters and Belinda Williams.
