Middle School Principals Donate $300-Plus to Food Bank
- March 15, 2011
The middle school principals of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System donated more than $300 to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank this Christmas in lieu of exchanging Christmas presents. The suggestion to contribute to the Food Bank was made by Glasgow Middle School Principal Judy Odell because the Food Bank serves the needs of so many, she said. Phyllis Crawford, principal of Sherwood Middle Academic Magnet School, recommended principals follow the lead of students who contribute to this cause. The group plans to make this an annual event.
