2009-2010 Pupil Progression Plan Committee Meeting

The East Baton Rouge Parish School System Pupil Progression Committee will meet at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18 in the Instructional Resource Center, 1022 N. Foster Dr., to discuss the System’s Pupil Progression Plan for the 2009-2010 school year.
The Pupil Progression Plan describes School Board procedures for implementing state and district pupil progression requirements. This plan is based on student performance on the Louisiana Educational Assessment Program with goals and objectives that are compatible with the Louisiana Competency-Based Education Program, which supplements the minimum standards approved by the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. Principal Brister in Washington, D.C., to Accept McKinley Middle School’s Second Blue Ribbon Award
On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, Principal Herman Brister (pictured, left) and the school’s Teacher of the Year, Lynn Williamson (right), were in Washington, D.C., accepting McKinley Middle Academic Magnet School’s National Blue Ribbon Award from U.S. Department of Education’s Director of National Blue Ribbon Schools Program Aba Kumi (center).
