Pre-K Registration Rally Scheduled July 26

Games.Activities.Free children’s books.Refreshments.And information about registering for school in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System (EBRPSS).The School System’s Pre-K Registration Rally will be held 9 am-1 pm Saturday, July 26, at EdenParkElementary School, 1650 N. Acadian Thruway, and has everything for 4-year-olds entering school and their parents.Parents will have an opportunity to find out about the schools, student openings at sites, registration requirements and other information regarding students entering the System who turn 4 by September 30.

Principal Brister in Washington, D.C., to Accept McKinley Middle School’s Second Blue Ribbon Award
On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, Principal Herman Brister (pictured, left) and the school’s Teacher of the Year, Lynn Williamson (right), were in Washington, D.C., accepting McKinley Middle Academic Magnet School’s National Blue Ribbon Award from U.S. Department of Education’s Director of National Blue Ribbon Schools Program Aba Kumi (center).
