A Daughter and Father Team up to Encourage Community Support at Prescott Middle School
- Aug 10, 07
Prescott Middle School is expecting plenty of support from the community after a strong message encouraging involvement. Eighth grader Harrileeann Clayton and her father Patrick took their message of community support to the airwaves on the first day of school.
Patrick Clayton is the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) President at Prescott Middle School. He spent the first day of school standing near the front doors at Prescott Middle encouraging each parent to get involved in the PTA. Clayton also delivered his message live on WXOK-AM 1460 during the "Sunrise Morning Show". He challenged community members to get involved in school activities and find out how they can use their talents to help raise student achievement.
His daughter, Harrileeann, did her part to echo that message saying she’s expecting a great year for all students at Prescott Middle.
Prescott Middle’s Interim Principal, Andria Joseph, spent her morning making sure students went to the right classrooms and urging parents to come back for the upcoming open house.
