EBR Teacher selected as Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year

Wal-Mart Associates on College Drive have chosen a teacher from Robert E. Lee High School as the 2005 Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year. Wal-Mart Associates will present a certificate and a monetary school donation on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 11:45 am in Room 304 of Robert E. Lee High School.
Wal-Mart Associates requested EBR students, along with other schools in the College Drive area, submit a written statement on why a teacher at their school should be the "Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year."

Principal Brister in Washington, D.C., to Accept McKinley Middle School’s Second Blue Ribbon Award
On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, Principal Herman Brister (pictured, left) and the school’s Teacher of the Year, Lynn Williamson (right), were in Washington, D.C., accepting McKinley Middle Academic Magnet School’s National Blue Ribbon Award from U.S. Department of Education’s Director of National Blue Ribbon Schools Program Aba Kumi (center).
