From the King of Pop to Spongebob, Westdale Middle School Teachers Surprise Students by Greeting Them in Halloween Costumes
- October 30, 2009
Teacher Deborah Facey (in photo) spun around, stuck her hip out and her hand in the air kicking out some dance moves worthy of the King of Pop himself. Students in her Westdale Middle School classroom applauded her performance, which had an air of authenticity to it thanks to the black hat and suit completing her Michael Jackson costume. Meanwhile Sheriff Sherry Brock, also known as the principal, guarded the hallways. It was her idea for the teachers to dress up for Halloween and surprise students arriving for school Friday morning, October 30. A librarian was an angel for the day, and other teachers dressed as everything from Spongebob Squarepants to a New Orleans Saints football player.
